To kick off, here is your first phrase.
Du Sau, du hast die ganze Gans gegessen!

You pig, you ate the whole goose!

To kick off, here is your first phrase.
Du Sau, du hast die ganze Gans gegessen!
English:
You pig, you ate the whole goose!
Can I get the German for: "You pig! You ate all my chips!"
I think it's "Sie sind sooooo schon..."
actually its "Gans" -... "Ganz" is something different
you're a bad teacher mr. rampage
Oh oh, dabei hat er mich vorher gefragt. *Shame on me!*
Ich ändere das mal eben...
Damn it, Grit!
Don't make me change this blog to 'Learn German with Rampie and Maria'...

And is anybody going to really need that phrase when they visit you? Are you cooking goose and having a beer and goose (and very potent after dinner guffing) party?
Give us something useful, like
"OK love, how much for just half an hour?"
![]()
BOL!
But the point is that they don't make sense. We win beer if we use them in everyday situations! Or something.
And I think it's "Was kostet halb uhr?"

Almost. ![]()
"Was kostet eine halbe Stunde, Puppe?"
Stunde! Yes. It's all coming back to me now!
To ask a...erm...lady how much half of a watch costs isn't such a bad idea. But you might not get what you asked for, hahaha.
Haha! Oops!
Maybe we //should// include that phrase!
Hmm, i let Rampie decide. ![]()
Monday's phrase has been decided. ![]()
Common, we all know there is no such thing as love, so why teach lies? In german? No way.
No love cynicism allowed in the Learn German blog!
That's reserved for the support table...
We need to talk about this, Stephen...
This is a new blog, how fun. Ich studierte, Deutsches in der High School aber spreche wenig. That's about it for me. I remember isolated words and such.
You are about to be exposed to a world of learning. Enjoy! ![]()
The phrase sounds a lot better in German, with the alliteration in the last three words.
//Everything// sounds better in German! ![]()
How about asking where the sneaky beers are???
not random enough!
oh, and you won't have to ask that, they'll be thrust readily into your hand. ![]()
Wow... I am astounded. After all the German I have learnt, I cant believe this phrase is the one that I use the most.
